Peshtemal, or fouta as some call it, is originally a Hammam towel. It is traditionally made from cotton, is lightweight, absorbent and quick drying.
We make our peshtemals true to the original, only better and more versatile to take it to another level.
- it is a beach towel you can lie on it on a sandy beach,
- it is a light blanket you can sleep on it under the stars or cuddle under it for warmth,
- it is your exercise companion you can throw on a bench or on your yoga mat,

- it is your bath towel you can dry yourself with it.

Our peshtemal is made from OEKO-TEX certified 100% pure cotton and dyes. We use only natural materials so that our products are not only long lasting and healthy to use but they also do not harm our planet. Therefore no microfiber, no polyester, no acrylic, no harmful chemicals. No harsh, plastic feel. Just the natural, deep, full feeling of the cotton, time after time.
We use long stable Turkish cotton so that our yarn is soft and durable. And our tight weaving technique makes our yarn highly absorbent and quick drying. Another benefit of our weaving is that it is sandproof, sand shakes off very easily.
We also pre-wash our peshtemals so that you don’t have to. They are soft and ready to use. And there is no shrinkage, colour fading or unravelling tassels as you wash them and use them.
