TRADITION WELCOMES INNOVATIONS

Ikineko Wool Weighted Duvet improves sleep quality, increases relaxation and reduces stress.
Almost a natural hug with wool inside and cotton outside.

6,000 years old wool duvet in a new form.
We've been washing, weaving, and wearing wool since 10,000 BC*.
And now traditional wool duvets have become weighted wool duvets with glass beads inside.

SLEEP EASY

The pressure from Ikineko Wool Weighted Duvet prepares your body for rest by calming your heart rate and breathing, they help your body to calm down enough to get the sleep it needs.

SLEEP GOOD

Weighted duvets use deep pressure stimulation, which stimulates the production of a mood-boosting hormone (serotonin), reduce the stress hormone (cortisol), and increase levels of melatonin, the hormone that helps you sleep.

This is the ultimate companion helping you fall asleep quicker and deeper, perfect for adults and children.

12 LOOPS

Ikineko Weighted Wool Duvet can be used inside a cover. And since weighted duvets behave differently than conventional blankets, it is important to attach the cover to the duvet. The blanket is equipped with 12 loops, four on each side, to ensure a secure hold. These loops allow the cover to be easily attached to the duvet, preventing the blanket from sliding around during the night.

10x10 QUILTING

Our 10x10 cm quilted pattern gives you even weight distribution and softness. Quilted boxes are not too big to cause piling of glassbeads and not too small to cause stiffness.

The use of heavy duvets for added warmth and comfort is not a new concept. In fact, people have been using heavy blankets and animal skins for centuries to keep warm. Before the development of lightweight down duvets in the 1950s and mass-produced synthetic fiber duvets in the 1970s, broadcloth duvets were commonly used in households and were significantly heavier than their modern counterparts. While the materials and methods used to create heavy duvets have evolved over time, the basic idea of using weighted blankets for warmth and comfort remains the same.
